Front-End Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Be part of a Squad team of 6 to 9 members working on the development of a brand-new application in the financial sector.
  • Design, develop, maintain, test, and deploy modern frontend web portals, applications, reusable components, and libraries using JavaScript and React.
  • Build scalable and maintainable user interfaces with React functional components, hooks, and the Context API.
  • Contribute to the implementation and evolution of shared components and design systems.
  • Collaborate closely with team leads, tech leads, business analysts, developers, and testers to understand requirements and ensure alignment and consistency across the project.
  • Integrate frontend applications with REST services and ensure smooth data exchanges.
  • Ensure high code quality through unit and component testing using tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Participate in the deployment and monitoring of applications in both on-premise and cloud-based containerized environments.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.


Profile

  • Strong experience in frontend development with JavaScript and React.
  • Solid knowledge of React ecosystem (functional components, hooks, Context API).
  • Experience building or contributing to shared UI components or design systems.
  • Good experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and modern frontend development practices.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
  • Knowledge of package management tools (NPM) and modern build tools such as Vite/Babel.
  • Experience with CI/CD environments, ideally Azure DevOps.
  • Strong team spirit and ability to work in a collaborative Agile squad environment.
