Are you ready to build the technical foundation of a Fintech SaaS startup as one of the first engineers? My client is an early-stage startup in Amsterdam developing a platform for transaction calculation analysis. As Founding Engineer, you'll work directly with the founders and have full ownership of building scalable infrastructure.

My client is an ambitious, early-stage Fintech SaaS startup based in Amsterdam, consisting of a small, driven team of founders. They are developing an advanced platform that enables clients to analyze and manage transactions. As a Founding Engineer, you will have the unique opportunity to scale this product from the ground up and make a serious impact. You will work directly with the other founders and play a crucial role in shaping both the product and the technology.

The tech stack is modern and pragmatic: TypeScript, Next.js, and Node.js form the core, hosted on GCP. Python is used for data analysis and modeling. They are looking for an engineer who is not only technically strong but also has a vision and can translate it into a robust and scalable infrastructure.

Your profile:

• 5+ years fullstack development experience
• Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, and Next.js knowledge
• Experience building scalable applications with end-to-end ownership
• Founding mindset: proactive, comfortable with ambiguity
• Experience with cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure)
• Based in the Netherlands, hybrid working from Amsterdam area
