Role Overview

We're seeking a Backend Engineer (Golang/Python) to design and develop scalable, robust systems that support AI-driven customer service solutions. At Deepdesk we are building 'Augmented Intelligence' for the enterprise. Our core value, "Think Human," guides everything we do creating AI that amplifies human abilities rather than replacing them.

From developing our own Dutch GPT-2 generative model to crafting tailored AI solutions for large enterprise customer service teams, we're proud to help businesses navigate the complex, ever-evolving world of AI, with a human-first approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend systems supporting AI Assistants and Virtual Agents
• Build robust APIs and services for enterprise contact center solutions using Python and Golang
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex feature requests into scalable, user-centric solutions
• Oversee the development of microservices, ensuring smooth and efficient implementation
• Lead architecture discussions to create scalable and resilient solutions for enterprise-grade applications
• Develop high-performance services where Golang's concurrency and efficiency are essential
• Write well-tested, clean and maintainable code while following best practices

What We're Looking For

• Strong backend expertise in Golang and Python
• Extensive experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL), SQL, and database migrations
• Experience with Celery/RabbitMQ
• Hands-on experience with Cloud Services (Google Cloud Platform) and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of API design and microservices architecture
• A creative and pragmatic approach to problem-solving
• Experience building scalable, distributed systems
