Data Analyst – Snowflake & Power BI Specialist

Alexander Ash are seeking a skilled Data Analyst with experience in Snowflake and Power BI to join one of our client's team. This is a contract role based in Dubai.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Infrastructure Reporting and a proven ability to interpret data, draw insights, and provide actionable conclusions. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support and enhance our data-driven decision-making processes within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns related to infrastructure performance and operations.
• Develop and maintain robust Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights.
• Use Snowflake to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data for analysis and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency across all reporting outputs.
• Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations based on data-driven conclusions.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of insights.
• Continuously optimize and refine reports and queries for efficiency and performance.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst in an Infrastructure Reporting environment.
• Proficiency in Snowflake for data warehousing and querying.
• Expertise in creating interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Strong understanding of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Ability to analyze data, draw meaningful conclusions, and present actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical data to non-technical audiences.
