This role focuses on fostering an environment of continuous improvement, alignment, and organizational agility across a scaled environment.

The ideal candidate excels at coaching teams, collaborating with product groups, removing impediments, and helping the organization fully embrace Agile at scale.

Team & Delivery Facilitation

  • Ensure that teams follow Agile principles, Scrum rules, and LeSS guidelines.
  • Support the Product Owner(s) in effective backlog refinement, prioritization, and transparency.
  • Remove impediments that block team progress, escalating when necessary.

Coaching & Continuous Improvement

  • Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Lean/Agile principles and LeSS practices.
  • Promote a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor teams in technical practices that support agility (e.g., CI/CD, test automation), when applicable.
  • Encourage cross-team coordination and integration to optimize system-level delivery.

Scaling Support & Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Ensure cross-team events such as Overall Retrospectives, Multi-team Refinement, and Sprint Reviews at Scale happen, are effective - facilitate if required, and provide coaching as required.
  • Promote shared understanding of the product vision, architecture, and system goals across teams.
  • Work with other Scrum Masters and Agile leaders to ensure consistent application of LeSS principles.

Organizational Agility

  • Partner with leadership to enable organizational changes required for scaling agile practices.
  • Support the adoption of new working agreements, structures, and roles aligned to LeSS.
  • Foster transparency across teams, enabling data-driven decisions (e.g., using metrics such as flow, quality, lead time).

Experience & Skills

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
  • Hands-on experience working with LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum) in a multi-team environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and servant-leadership practices.
  • Demonstrated success facilitating cross-team collaboration in a scaled environment.
  • Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Experience working in a virtual, international and multicultural environment.
  • Experience supporting multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to coach diverse audiences (developers, testers, product owners, managers).
  • Ability to identify systemic problems and work toward lasting organizational solutions.
  • Understanding of product-centric delivery models.
  • Ability to influence without authority in complex environments.

Desired Experience & Skills (nice-to-have)

  • Certification(s) such as:
  • LeSS Practitioner (CLP) or LeSS for Executives
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), A-CSM, or CSP-SM
  • SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or related Agile scaling certifications
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and engineering workflows that support agility.
  • Experience using Agile lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally).
  • Experience in enterprise environments undergoing Agile transformation.
  • Understanding of complementary frameworks (e.g., Kanban, XP, Systems Thinking, Lean Product Development).
