We are seeking a highly skilled Scrum Master with hands-on experience in Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) to coach and guide multiple teams in delivering high-quality, customer centric solutions. This role focuses on fostering an environment of continuous improvement, alignment, and organizational agility across a scaled environment.
The ideal candidate excels at coaching teams, collaborating with product groups, removing impediments, and helping the organization fully embrace Agile at scale.
Team & Delivery Facilitation
- Engage with teams to ensure Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) happen, are understood, are effective, - facilitating where required, and coaching the teams toward self-management.
- Ensure that teams follow Agile principles, Scrum rules, and LeSS guidelines.
- Support the Product Owner(s) in effective backlog refinement, prioritization, and transparency.
- Remove impediments that block team progress, escalating when necessary.
- Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Lean/Agile principles and LeSS practices.
- Promote a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Mentor teams in technical practices that support agility (e.g., CI/CD, test automation), when applicable.
- Encourage cross-team coordination and integration to optimize system-level delivery.
- Ensure cross-team events such as Overall Retrospectives, Multi-team Refinement, and Sprint Reviews at Scale happen, are effective - facilitate if required, and provide coaching as required.
- Promote shared understanding of the product vision, architecture, and system goals across teams.
- Work with other Scrum Masters and Agile leaders to ensure consistent application of LeSS principles.
- Partner with leadership to enable organizational changes required for scaling agile practices.
- Support the adoption of new working agreements, structures, and roles aligned to LeSS.
- Foster transparency across teams, enabling data-driven decisions (e.g., using metrics such as flow, quality, lead time).
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
- Hands-on experience working with LeSS (Large-Scale Scrum) in a multi-team environment.
- Deep knowledge of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and servant-leadership practices.
- Demonstrated success facilitating cross-team collaboration in a scaled environment.
- Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Experience working in a virtual, international and multicultural environment.
- Experience supporting multiple Scrum teams simultaneously.
- Proven ability to coach diverse audiences (developers, testers, product owners, managers).
- Ability to identify systemic problems and work toward lasting organizational solutions.
- Understanding of product-centric delivery models.
- Ability to influence without authority in complex environments.
- Certification(s) such as:
- LeSS Practitioner (CLP) or LeSS for Executives
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), A-CSM, or CSP-SM
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or related Agile scaling certifications
- Exposure to DevOps practices and engineering workflows that support agility.
- Experience using Agile lifecycle tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally).
- Experience in enterprise environments undergoing Agile transformation.
- Understanding of complementary frameworks (e.g., Kanban, XP, Systems Thinking, Lean Product Development).
- Background in software development, QA, business analysis, or product management.
- Strong interest in coaching, facilitation workshops, and developing Agile maturity roadmaps.
