About The Role & Team

SITA Barcelona is on the lookout for recent graduates to join our SkyStar Program within the SITA for Aircraft function, initially for a 12 month period, with opportunity to become permanent.

Your Main Tasks Will Involve Supporting Fuel Efficiency Initiatives, Providing Assistance Under Supervision Of The OptiFlight Operations Team, And Ensuring The Smooth Operation Of OptiFlight Suite. This Entry-level Position Offers The Opportunity To Engage In Various Activities Within Our Fast-paced Global Community

What You Will Do

  • Assisting in OptiFlight Delivery: Work closely with the customer-facing team to ensure the successful implementation and delivery of OptiFlight, a product designed to optimize fuel savings for airlines.
  • Performance Analysis: Support the team in calculating and analysing the performance of a diverse range of fleets, ensuring that the product’s impact on fuel efficiency is maximized.
  • Collaboration with Operational Data Analytics: Carry out data analytics, statistical modeling, and all necessary work to substantiate our savings and present insights to customers.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Assist L2 Support team in resolving any operational or technical issues that arise post-implementation, ensuring smooth and efficient fuel-saving operations.

Education & Qualifications

  • Qualification in Aerospace Engineering would be desirable
  • Knowledge on Data Analytics would be desirable
  • Previous experience in aviation advantageous
