Azure DevOps Engineer – AI Software Company in Stockholm
I’m currently hiring an Azure DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing AI‑driven software company in Stockholm operating at the forefront of live‑streaming and video production technology. The company works closely with Microsoft and other major tech partners, and due to continued growth, they are expanding their Infrastructure team with a key technical role.
This opportunity suits someone who enjoys being close to modern cloud platforms, automation, and large‑scale distributed systems — with real influence over technical direction.
Key Technical Focus Areas
The role revolves around modern cloud‑native infrastructure, and several skill areas are considered essential for success:
✔ Kubernetes (AKS + self‑managed)
You will work with both AKS and standalone Kubernetes clusters, including a planned migration away from AKS. Strong practical experience is required, but we are not overselling it — it’s simply a core part of the job.
✔ Service Mesh (Istio)
Experience with Istio or similar Service Mesh frameworks is critical, as this is a central component in their production environment.
✔ CAPI & CAPZ
Hands‑on experience with Cluster API (CAPI) and Cluster API Provider for Azure (CAPZ) is essential, as these tools form the foundation for cluster lifecycle management in the environment.
What you’ll be working on
- Designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in Azure (AKS and self‑managed).
- Supporting the migration from AKS to fully self‑managed clusters.
- Developing infrastructure with Terraform.
- Designing and maintaining GitHub workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
- Enhancing reliability, performance, and security across a cloud‑native production platform.
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years of DevOps experience, including solid hands‑on Kubernetes work.
- Strong knowledge of Service Mesh (preferably Istio).
- Experience with CAPI and CAPZ.
- Proficiency with Terraform.
- Experience working with Azure services such as Storage Accounts, VNets, VMs, Key Vault and Network Security Groups.
- A mindset focused on automation, resilience, and scalable infrastructure.
Why join?
- Work for a Microsoft partner leading innovation in live‑streaming and AI‑driven video technology.
- High levels of autonomy and influence over infrastructure and architectural decisions.
- Be part of a company undergoing a major Kubernetes and platform evolution.
- Modern office + flexible hybrid setup.
- Attractive compensation and benefits.
Please note:
The role is open to English speakers, but you must already have permanent residency or a valid work visa and be based in Stockholm.
