Data Scientist - AI Trainer (Freelance | 8–20 hrs/week | Remote EU/UK)

Are you an experienced data scientist interested in applying your expertise in a cutting-edge new context? Do you have 8 to 20 hours per week available alongside your current projects or consulting work?

We are looking for freelance data scientists based in the EU or UK to help improve advanced AI systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

We are 10x.team, a platform for fractional and freelance professionals. We partner with leading AI labs to improve large AI systems.

Your Role Is Practical And High Impact. You Will

  • Review and refine AI-generated responses and data-driven outputs
  • Evaluate outputs for algorithmic accuracy, statistical validity, and real-world applicability
  • Draft realistic data analysis scenarios, including common industry use cases in predictive modeling, classification, regression, and unsupervised learning
  • Assess AI reasoning in topics such as feature engineering, model interpretation, data preprocessing, and bias detection
  • Identify gaps or misinterpretations in methodology or analysis
  • Create scenario variations from the perspective of different data science stakeholders, such as analyst, business leader, or research scientist

In Simple Terms

You will assess and improve AI-generated content to ensure it reflects real-world data science standards, practices, and reasoning. Your work will help scale and advance the quality of AI systems in data science contexts.

You Are

Who this is for

  • A data scientist, machine learning engineer, or analytics expert
  • Based in the EU or UK
  • With several years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, or applied statistics
  • Experienced with modern data science tools, algorithms, and best practices
  • Comfortable identifying methodological flaws, unrealistic assumptions, or statistical errors
  • Available 8 to 20 hours per week
  • Able to start in the coming weeks
