What We're Looking For

• Experience with Payment Facilitator (PF) or payment systems
• At least 5 years of experience with PHP, including both legacy and modern versions
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Laravel framework
• Experience working with live production systems
• Experience in REST API development and third-party integrations
• Strong understanding of the MVC (Model–View–Controller) architectural pattern
• Knowledge of SQL-based databases
• Proficiency with Git, logging, and production debugging
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a questioning technical mindset
• Ability to understand projects from a business perspective
• Solid understanding of system architecture, with the ability to add new features while maintaining code simplicity and robustness
• Experience participating in code reviews and writing defensive code
• Awareness of code performance and long-term maintainability
• Ability to communicate effectively with the Tech Lead and cross-functional teams
• Ability to clearly explain system behavior and design to other team members
• Capability to address small code issues quickly and plan for resolving larger technical debt
• Ability to adapt to changes in technology and project requirements
• Ensuring features function correctly post-release
• Ability to question the value of requested changes in relation to increased complexity and development cost
• Commitment to delivering bug-free features and proactively investigating bug reports
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with technical English proficiency
• Experience running or observing applications in Docker / Kubernetes environments
• Experience with Redis, queues, and cron jobs
