We are seeking a high-caliber AI Strategy & Transformation Lead to drive the systematic integration of artificial intelligence across our investment management operations. This role is not a research position. It is a strategic and operational mandate.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Investment Process Analysis

• Map and dissect the firm’s investment lifecycle: deal sourcing, research, due diligence, portfolio construction, risk management, compliance, reporting, and investor relations.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, latency points, and high-cost manual processes.
• Quantify inefficiencies and define clear ROI hypotheses for AI integration.

2. AI Opportunity Design & Prioritization

• Translate business problems into structured AI use cases.
• Evaluate feasibility across machine learning, NLP, predictive analytics, generative AI, and automation frameworks.
• Develop a prioritized AI transformation roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.

3. Cross-Functional Project Leadership

• Convert identified opportunities into detailed project briefs.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and software teams.
• Define KPIs, technical requirements, governance standards, and validation frameworks.
• Ensure regulatory and risk alignment throughout implementation.

4. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

• Track implementation milestones and performance metrics.
• Measure impact on alpha generation, cost reduction, execution speed, and operational resilience.
• Iterate and refine models based on real-world performance data.

5. Governance & Risk Oversight

• Establish AI governance standards.
• Ensure model explainability, compliance adherence, and auditability.
• Identify model risk and implement mitigation frameworks.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in investment management, asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or institutional finance.
• Demonstrated exposure to AI/ML-driven transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, portfolio theory, and risk frameworks.
• Ability to bridge business strategy with technical implementation.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multi-phase projects.
• Quantitative literacy and data fluency.
