Our client is a rapidly growing fintech company specializing in the development of advanced software solutions for CFD brokers. With headquarters in the United States and Poland, the company is not a broker and does not engage in the trading of client funds, allowing it to focus on delivering innovative technological solutions. Its offerings include social trading applications, proprietary trading software, as well as hosting and support for MT4/MT5 servers. The company collaborates exclusively with registered brokerage firms, providing products and services that enable them to fully leverage technology in online trading. We are looking for candidates who wish to join a team of experts and work together on developing modern solutions for the financial market.

Manager/Head of Trading Operations

location: Warszawa

Your Responsibilities

  • Leadership and development of several operational teams with different specializations
  • Building and maintaining transparent processes, procedures, and work standards
  • Ensuring operational continuity - identifying bottlenecks and eliminating them before they become a problem
  • Managing priorities and workflow between teams with different profiles
  • Ownership of incident management processes and escalation
  • Implementing tools and practices to increase efficiency and transparency of work
  • Regular reporting to management
  • Building team structure and recruitment processes along with company growth

Must Have

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial position in a high-complexity operational environment - fintech, technology, or similar, preferably in more than one company
  • Documented successes in managing multiple teams simultaneously
  • Excellent organizational skills: you plan ahead, pay attention to details, and ensure that no important issues fall through the cracks
  • Ability to quickly learn a new domain - you don't need to know crypto, but you must be able to ask the right questions
  • Natural authority and the ability to build a culture of responsibility within the team
  • Resilience to pressure and comfort in a variable and non-linear environment
  • Comfort working with tools for work and documentation management (Jira or similar) - conducting procedures, tickets, and operational documentation is standard for you, not an obligation

Good To Have Skills

  • Experience working with technical teams (engineers, analysts, developers)
  • Knowledge of project and process management methodologies
  • Experience in a 24/7 operational environment
  • Familiarity with operations engineering practices: system monitoring, operational dashboards, and defining/enforcing service quality standards
  • Previous exposure to the financial or trading industry
  • Basic understanding of cryptocurrency markets and the blockchain ecosystem - understanding exchange mechanisms, asset types, and operational specifics of this market
