Responsibilities

Risk Assessments: Conduct regular assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in

the crypto exchange’s operations, and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Policy Development: Create and implement policies and procedures for managing risks

associated with trading, custody, and other exchange operations while ensuring compliance

with MASAK and SPK.

Internal Controls: Establish and maintain a robust internal control system to ensure

compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Due Diligence: Evaluate new crypto assets and projects to ensure they align with the

exchange's risk and compliance standards.

Market Monitoring: Analyze market and industry trends, providing regular risk reports to the

management team.

Team Coordination: Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure a

unified approach to risk management.

Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers,

including security and insurance providers, to ensure adequate risk coverage.

Industry Engagement: Participate in industry forums and regulatory discussions to stay

informed about best practices and developments in risk management.

Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, or

a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in risk management, preferably within the crypto or financial

services sectors.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.

Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to crypto exchanges

and financial services.

Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Project Management: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

simultaneously.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
