Desired Features/Expectations

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering or comparable.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a MSSQL Server DBA or similar role.
• Experiences with SQL Server 2022, SQL Server 2019 and SQL Server 2016.
• SQL Server Integration Services, Reporting Services, Analysis Services.
• Deep technical knowledge/experience on SQL High-Availability/Disaster Recovery solutions.
• Knowledge on Windows clustering.
• Understanding of Data Platform Security.
• Practical experience troubleshooting performance problems, query tuning and optimization.
• PowerShell skills including scripting is a plus.
• Experience with Active Directory, IIS and network troubleshooting is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong communication skills / Team player / Analytical and planning skills / Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

Job description:

• Installation, Administration and Maintenance of Global SQL Server Instances.
• Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security.
• Monitor system's health and performance; Server level, Database level and query tuning.
• Create Users and assign permissions based on the level of database access the user would need.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and apply service packs.
• Support server upgrades and migrations databases to newer versions.
• Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time.
• Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement, provide suggestions for solutions.
