Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Cisco Catalyst switching environments including VLANs, STP, RSTP, QoS, and port security.
• Configure and manage Cisco SD-WAN / Catalyst SD-WAN including policy templates, VPN segmentation, and WAN edge devices.
• Deploy and maintain Cisco SD-Access (SDA) fabric networks and support ongoing operations.
• Use Cisco Catalyst Center for network device management, monitoring, assurance, and automation workflows.
• Support OT (Operational Technology) network environments following architectures such as the Purdue Model and IT/OT DMZ design.
• Automate network infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and scripting.
• Develop automation scripts using Python or Bash for network operations and management tasks.
• Implement network security using Cisco ISE for authentication, authorization, profiling, and TrustSec policies.
• Integrate network systems using APIs and tools such as RESTCONF, NETCONF, or Cisco NSO.
• Support industrial network environments and protocols used in SCADA/ICS systems.

Skills required

• Strong experience with Cisco Catalyst switching and enterprise networking technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco SD-WAN and Cisco SD-Access architectures.
• Knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center for network automation and management.
• Understanding of OT networking and industrial protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, PROFINET, and OPC-UA.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for network automation.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across network layers.
• Experience with Cisco ISE and network security implementations.
• Familiarity with industrial cybersecurity frameworks and SCADA/ICS platforms.
