Fund Compliance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fund Compliance Manager to join a Dubai-based Family Office operating within an ADGM-regulated structure. The role will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with the regulatory framework of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) under the supervision of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA).

This is a key governance role requiring strong regulatory knowledge, hands-on compliance management experience, and direct interaction with regulators.

Key Responsibilities

1️⃣ Regulatory Compliance & Governance

• Ensure ongoing compliance with ADGM rulebooks, including the Funds Rulebook (where applicable)
• Manage all regulatory filings, submissions, and notifications to FSRA
• Liaise directly with FSRA on supervisory matters, inspections, and queries
• Support license variations and regulatory approvals

2️⃣ AML & Financial Crime Oversight

• Oversee AML, KYC, UBO verification, and sanctions screening frameworks
• Maintain and enhance AML policies in line with ADGM requirements
• Support MLRO responsibilities (or act as MLRO if eligible and approved)
• Ensure suspicious activity reporting processes are robust and compliant

3️⃣ Compliance Monitoring & Risk Management

• Develop and implement the Compliance Monitoring Plan
• Conduct periodic internal compliance reviews and control testing
• Maintain compliance registers and regulatory logs
• Perform compliance risk assessments

4️⃣ Policy & Advisory

• Draft, review, and update compliance policies and procedures
• Provide regulatory advisory support to investment and operations teams
• Deliver compliance training to internal stakeholders
• Prepare compliance reports for Board and Investment Committee

5️⃣ Audit & Reporting

• Coordinate internal and external audits
• Ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting
• Address audit findings and implement corrective actions

Candidate Requirements

Experience

• 5+ years of compliance experience within:
• ADGM-regulated entity (mandatory)
• Asset Management / Fund Management company
• Investment Manager or Family Office
• Proven experience interacting directly with FSRA

Technical Knowledge

• Strong understanding of ADGM regulatory framework
• Working knowledge of the ADGM Funds Rulebook (preferred)
• Deep understanding of AML/CFT regulations
• Experience with compliance monitoring programs and regulatory reporting

Certifications (Preferred)

• CAMS / ACAMS
• ICA Diploma in Compliance
• Other relevant regulatory certifications
