Job Description – MERN Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced MERN Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack. The ideal candidate will work across both front-end and back-end development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-performance, responsive, and user-friendly applications.

The role involves developing dynamic web applications, optimizing database performance, and ensuring high-quality code standards.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development


  • Design, develop, and deploy full-stack web applications using the MERN stack:

    • MongoDB

    • Express.js

    • React

    • Node.js


Frontend Development


  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.

  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.


Backend Development


  • Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.

  • Build APIs and manage server-side integrations.


Database Management


  • Design and optimize database schemas using MongoDB.

  • Work with relational databases such as MySQL when required.


Application Performance


  • Test, debug, and optimize applications for performance and scalability.

  • Ensure clean, modular, and maintainable code.


Collaboration & Development Practices


  • Participate in Agile development processes.

  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing.

  • Stay updated with the latest web technologies and frameworks.

Required Skills

  • Strong expertise in the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).

  • Experience with MySQL database development and optimization.

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

  • Strong debugging, testing, and performance optimization skills.

  • Ability to write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

  • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred / Additional Skills

  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

  • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and UI libraries.

  • Exposure to enterprise document generation tools such as SmartCOMM (preferred).
