Digital Product Manager – Multiple Openings (Hybrid – Markham, ON)
Location: Markham, Ontario (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Contract: 6 months, with strong potential to convert to Full-Time
Rate: $70–$85/hour
Start Date: March 25, 2026
End Date: November 25, 2026
About the Role
We are seeking multiple Digital Product Managers to join a high-impact initiative focused on digital transformation in insurance. These roles sit at the intersection of customer experience, insurance products, claims, billing, and underwriting. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, technology teams, and business stakeholders to deliver seamless, customer-centric digital experiences across multiple platforms.
This is a strategic opportunity for product leaders who enjoy taking ownership of initiatives that directly affect millions of policyholders while working in a collaborative, Agile environment.
What You’ll Do
As a Digital Product Manager, you will:
- Lead the design and delivery of digital insurance products and features
- Collaborate with UX, engineering, and business teams to refine end-to-end customer journeys
- Define product roadmaps, priorities, and requirements in Agile/Scrum environments
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure digital solutions meet business objectives and regulatory requirements
- Translate complex insurance product rules, claims workflows, or underwriting logic into system-enabled solutions
- Deliver high-quality digital solutions across claims, billing/payments, underwriting, and product management
- Monitor metrics and outcomes to continuously improve the digital experience
We’re Looking for Candidates with Expertise in One of the Following Areas
1️⃣ Personal Property / Home Insurance Product Experts
- Strong knowledge of Personal Property or Home insurance products
- Expertise in product structure, including coverages, limits, deductibles, endorsements, exclusions, and eligibility rules
- Ability to translate insurance product rules into system configuration
- Ideal background: Insurance Product Manager, Product Analyst, P&C specialist
Billing & Digital Payments Experts
- Extensive experience with digital payments, billing systems, and transaction workflows
- Proven track record of delivering products in Agile/Scrum environments
- Ability to optimize customer payment journeys and ensure smooth billing experiences
- Ideal background: Billing or payments platform Product Manager, Fintech or insurance billing experience
Guidewire / Claims Experts
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire (ClaimsCenter preferred)
- Strong exposure to auto and property claims, along with regulatory and compliance considerations
- Solid background in P&C insurance, specifically auto claims
- Ideal background: Claims system Product Owner/Manager, Guidewire specialist
Auto Underwriting & Rating Experts
- Deep expertise in auto underwriting and rating, including pricing logic, risk segmentation, and coverage configuration
- Strong understanding of provincial insurance regulations and reforms across Canada, including product filing requirements and rate approvals
- Focus on provinces: Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, and the Maritimes
- Ideal background: Underwriting systems Product Manager, Insurance rating engine specialist
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years as a Digital Product Manager or Product Owner
- Experience delivering digital products in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience collaborating with UX and technology teams to improve customer journeys
