Ardent Security is a Toronto-based consulting firm provides provide world-class cybersecurity services to business. We provide penetration testing services and help secure IT, OT/ICS, Mainframes, Cloud, web applications, mobile applications, and thick clients. We provide advisory services such as threat modeling, network architecture reviews and cybersecurity awareness.
THIS IS NOT THE INTERNSHIP/CO-COP APPLICATION, THERE IS ANOTHER ONE FOR THAT. THIS POST IS FOR GRADUATE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR AN ENTRY-LEVEL FULL-TIME POSITION IN PENTESTING. Don't apply to both, or your applications will be ignored.
Role Description
This is a REMOTE full-time or part-time position as a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst. The intern will assist with identifying and analyzing security threats, supporting web application penetration testing, and other tasks. Responsibilities include learning and applying effective measures to mitigate risks, assisting in security audits, and providing insights on potential system vulnerabilities. As a member of our team, you'll work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, contributing to the protection of client systems from emerging cybersecurity threats. Preferred start date: Beginning of April or earlier.
Mandatory Qualifications
MUST BE A Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
MUST have graduated from a Canadian (or the equivalent) college or University in computer science, engineering, or cybersecurity.
Have a 1-2 years of experience using Burp Suite. We will teach you there rest.
Having the BSCP certification, or relevant certifications from the SANS Institute (GWAPT, GPEN), will put your name on top of my list.
