About the Job:

Quality isn't just a checkbox at Notewise; it's a core value. As our Quality Assurance Engineer, you are the final guardian of the user experience. You won't just be "checking boxes"—you will be the bridge between our technical builds and the millions of users who rely on us for their daily productivity.

In this role, you will work at the heart of our cross-functional team, collaborating daily with our Founders, Engineers, PMs, and Designers. Your mission is to ensure that every digital stroke, every AI feature, and every sync is flawless across all platforms.

What You’ll Do:

• Multi-Platform Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing for Notewise on iOS, iPadOS, Android, and Web platforms to ensure a seamless experience.
• Customer Support & Feedback: Serve as a key point of contact for our community. You will reply to customer support emails, troubleshoot user issues, and monitor feedback on platforms like Reddit, Discord, and App Store reviews.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with everyone—Founders, Senior Engineers, Designers, and PMs. You’ll be involved throughout the entire lifecycle, from design reviews to final release.
• Systematic Quality Planning: Develop and execute testing plans, including pre-release smoke tests, deep-dives into new features, and regression testing after major bug fixes.
• Bug Lifecycle Management: Document identified issues with clear reproduction steps and work hand-in-hand with the development team to ensure they are resolved promptly.
• Strategic Prioritization: Act as the "release gatekeeper," prioritizing issues based on user impact to ensure our development efforts are focused on the most critical fixes.

Job Requirements:

• A solid understanding of the mobile and web ecosystem (iOS, iPadOS, Android, and Web).
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to the development team.
• Strong experience in manual testing.
• A high sense of responsibility and a great team spirit.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• 1+ year in QA or Software Testing.
