Robert Half is seeking a full time, direct hire Senior Laravel Developer.
You’ll be a senior member of the engineering team, taking ownership of our Laravel-based backend and web stack. That includes:
- APIs used by our iOS, Android, and watch apps
- Internal admin tools and webviews
- A modern Laravel 12 codebase with jobs, caching, and external integrations
You’ll spend your time designing and building features, improving performance and reliability, and collaborating closely with mobile, product, and design teammates. This role is a great fit if you enjoy ownership, clean architecture, and systems that need to scale, but still want to be hands-on with code every day.
What You’ll Do
- Design, build, and maintain APIs and backend features in Laravel 12
- Work across multiple subdomains and webviews that serve our mobile apps and internal tools
- Improve performance and reliability of our backend processes and database access, and help us evolve toward more robust asynchronous/queue-based patterns over time
- Integrate with third-party services like Stripe and other internal/legacy systems
- Help keep the codebase clean, well-tested, and well-documented
- Collaborate with mobile, product, and design to deliver features from idea to production
- Contribute to our CI/CD, monitoring, and general developer experience
What We’re Looking For
You might be a great fit if you:
- Have ~5+ years of professional PHP experience, with strong experience in Laravel
- Are comfortable working with relational databases and optimizing queries
- Have built or maintained APIs that other teams or apps depend on
- Have experience with background jobs and care about reliability at scale
- Communicate clearly and enjoy collaborating with other engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Like owning a system end-to-end and improving it over time
Nice to have (not required):
- Experience with Vue 3, InertiaJS, or similar front-end stacks
- Experience with AWS or another major cloud provider
- Familiarity with Stripe (billing, subscriptions, or webhooks)
- Experience with mobile webviews or integrating with legacy systems
- Any exposure to .NET/C# or golf is a bonus, not a requirement
