Senior Data Analyst – Content Security & Fraud Analytics

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join a Content Security, Fraud, and Paid Sharing Analytics team supporting a large-scale streaming platform. This role will focus on analyzing data to improve platform security, detect fraud, and help strengthen protections around subscription sharing.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business Strategy teams to turn complex questions into meaningful insights that drive product improvements and business decisions.


What You’ll Do

• Translate stakeholder questions from Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Business teams into structured analytical solutions

• Perform deep analysis on large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights

• Use SQL and Python or R to analyze structured and unstructured data

• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy and accessibility

• Build dashboards, visualizations, and presentations to communicate findings clearly

• Design and evaluate A/B experiments to measure the impact of product and security features

• Lead analytics projects end to end, from gathering requirements to delivering business impact


What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or Analytics role

• Strong experience with SQL and either Python or R

• Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, MicroStrategy, Plotly, or Matplotlib

• Experience conducting A/B testing for digital products

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams


Nice to Have

• Experience working with streaming platforms, subscription products, or digital media

• Experience analyzing application or product usage data

• Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or Mathematics

• Familiarity with the technology industry


Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
