Position: UI/UX Designer & Developer

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong portfolio showing UI/UX design work: wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and responsive designs for web and mobile.
• Expert in Figma: wireframing, user flows, interactive prototypes, design systems, and developer handoff (Dev Mode, specs, exports).
• Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for graphics, icons, illustrations, image editing, and final assets.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3 (using SCSS or LESS), and basic JavaScript (ES6+) to build clean, responsive, pixel-perfect templates from designs.
• Proven ability to build and customize websites using WordPress: converting designs into functional sites with themes (classic or block-based), page builders (e.g., Elementor, Beaver Builder, or Gutenberg), custom CSS/JS tweaks, and basic theme/child theme modifications for pixel-perfect implementation and responsive layouts.
• Familiar with CSS tools like Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap for fast, cross-device layouts.
• Basic understanding of frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue (components, templates, bindings) — enough to collaborate with developers, but no need for complex coding or full apps.
• Proven skill in responsive design that works across browsers/devices, following accessibility (WCAG) and mobile-first best practices.
• Knowledge of mobile guidelines: Material Design (Android) and iOS Human Interface Guidelines.
• Ability to spot usability issues, prioritize user needs, and improve designs through iteration.
• Experience in Agile teams, working with product, engineering, and stakeholders.
• Strong eye for visual design: typography, layout, color, consistency, and brand adherence.
• Good communication and presentation skills — explaining designs clearly in meetings or via slides (PowerPoint/Keynote).

• Experience using AI-powered design and development tools to accelerate and enhance your work, such as:
• Midjourney, DALL·E, Stable Diffusion, or Adobe Firefly for rapid concept generation, mood boards, icon sets, textures, or visual exploration
• Uizard, Galileo AI, or Figma AI features for turning text prompts into wireframes, layouts, or full UI screens
• Builder.io, V0 by Vercel for generating UI components or code from designs/prompts
• ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot to write, refactor, or explain HTML/CSS/JS code faster
• AI-assisted accessibility checking, color-contrast validation, or naming conventions tools
• Comfortable integrating AI outputs into professional workflows while maintaining quality, brand alignment, and pixel-perfect control
• Track record of using AI to shorten iteration cycles, explore more creative directions, or improve handoff documentation
