Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. As a Product Designer at Mastt, you will focus on creating outstanding design solutions that enhance user experience and align with business goals. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting user research, applying design thinking, developing wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine products. You will work closely with engineers and product managers to deliver intuitive, user-friendly, and visually appealing designs.

We view advances in AI as a major disruptor to the status quo of product design. Our ideal candidate does not need to be an expert in using AI tools but should have a strong curiosity for experimentation in introducing AI tooling into how they work. Ideally you can discuss some examples of how you view this change happening or examples of what experiments you have attempted previously.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Product Design and Visual Design
• Proficiency in Design Thinking and problem-solving methodologies
• Experience in User Research and UX Research to inform design decisions
• Ability to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in design tools and familiarity with modern design systems
• Experience in using AI tools in your workflow such as for building interactive prototypes
• Curiosity for how AI will impact product design ways of working and the willingness to experiment
• Knowledge of construction or project management software is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is a plus
