Join a major ICT labour hire engagement supporting a high-impact cyber security uplift in a hybrid environment. You’ll take the lead on SIEM detection engineering, toolchain optimisation and security advisory—working with DevOps and support teams to strengthen organisational security posture across Azure, Active Directory and Microsoft security platforms.
📍 Location: ACT | NSW | VIC | QLD (Hybrid)
- Contract Duration: 12 months + 1×12 month extension option
- Security Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain Baseline
- Develop, tune and automate SIEM detections, rules, playbooks and dashboards.
- Administer and optimise the cyber security toolchain, integrations and data ingestion.
- Provide cyber security risk, vulnerability and compliance advice to stakeholders.
- Support vulnerability management and technical control monitoring with actionable reporting.
- Strong security operations experience (monitoring, investigation, response improvement).
- Proven detection engineering capability (use-case development, telemetry/logging pipelines).
- Experience across Microsoft security stack (Azure, AD, M365, Microsoft Defender).
- Automation/scripting skills to uplift operational efficiency and platform reliability.
