Senior Project Manager - Greater Sydney (Hybrid)
We’re partnering with a growing specialist financial services business looking to appoint a Senior Project Manager to drive key initiatives across the organisation.
This is an opportunity to join a commercially focused and fast-moving business operating within the credit risk and insurance ecosystem, working closely with partners and clients across financial services.
Working closely with senior leadership, this role will play a key part in delivering strategic projects across operations, product and technology teams.
The Role
As Senior Project Manager, you will lead projects end-to-end, from initial planning and stakeholder alignment through to successful delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the delivery of business and technology projects from initiation through to implementation
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to define scope, priorities and delivery plans
- Acting as the central point of coordination across business, operational and technology teams
- Managing risks, issues and dependencies across project delivery
- Driving momentum and accountability to ensure projects are delivered on time
- Providing clear reporting and updates to leadership on progress and outcomes
- Supporting broader change and process improvement initiatives across the organisation
About You
You are a proactive and confident project leader who is comfortable operating in a growing organisation and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the business.
The ideal background:
- Proven experience operating as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex initiatives
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work with both executives and operational teams
- The ability to bring structure, clarity and momentum to projects
- Strong planning, organisation and delivery capability
- Experience working across both business and technology initiatives
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify complex problems
- Experience within financial services, insurance or another regulated environment is advantageous
