Your new company

You will be joining an organisation dedicated to working with people, partners, and communities to ensure children, young people, and families are safe, supported, and able to thrive. Your new role

In this role, you will lead high‑level project management activities to ensure the effective delivery of data products within a complex program environment, supporting technology‑enabled business reform across Child Safety and Youth Justice.
You will build trusted relationships with reporting and analysis teams, collaborate with technical delivery groups, and help drive the transition to a modern reporting future state. This includes capability uplift, stakeholder engagement, and supporting the adoption and utilisation of the Modern Data Platform.
You will also manage teams, oversee workflow and risk strategies, and promote innovation to enhance service outcomes and operational efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

Success in this role will require:
  • Proven experience managing projects within complex programs, preferably in a human services or similar environment.
  • Strong contract and vendor management capability, including working with implementation partners and external stakeholders.
  • Experience working within governance frameworks or environments requiring external assurance.
  • Extensive end‑to‑end ICT project management and delivery experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, ideally AGILE.
  • Demonstrated reporting and analytics delivery experience across modern BI platforms, including leading modernisation or toolset transition initiatives.
  • Experience supporting Modern Data Platforms, data curation processes, and data design in partnership with technical and business teams.
  • Advanced communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Demonstrated leadership and relationship management capability.

What you'll get in return

In this role, you will:
  • Contribute to meaningful work that directly impacts children, young people, and families.
  • Lead high‑impact data and reporting initiatives supporting broader human services reform.
  • Work closely with supportive internal teams and external partners.
  • Influence the organisation's future reporting landscape and uplift capability across teams.
  • Develop your leadership profile through cross‑agency collaboration and complex project delivery.
