Baidam Solutions - Senior Project Coordinator
The Senior Project Coordinator will report to the Project Manager at Baidam Solutions and will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of complex cyber security Professional Services and Managed Security engagements.
This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, supporting the management of multiple concurrent engagements, and ensuring that cyber security projects and managed services are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with client expectations. The Senior Project Coordinator will work closely with internaltechnical teams, vendors, delivery partners, and clients to maintain delivery quality, governance, and operational oversight across engagements.
Key Responsibilities
• Support End-to-End Delivery of Security Engagements: Coordinate the delivery of Professional Services and Managed Security engagements, supporting the Project Manager in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Assist with managing the lifecycle of cyber security projects including planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and closure. Coordinate activities across services such as security assessments, penetration testing, compliance projects, architecture engagements, and managed security services.
• Engagement & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a central coordination point between clients, internal technical teams, delivery partners, and management to ensure clear communication and smooth engagement delivery. Organise and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and status updates with stakeholders. Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure project alignment and progress.
• Managed Security Services Coordination: Support the coordination of managed security engagements, ensuring operational tasks, reporting cycles, and service commitments are tracked and delivered. Work closely with technical teams to ensure service deliverables are completed in line with service level agreements (SLAs) and contractual obligations. Assist with tracking operational metrics, service reports, and improvement actions for ongoing services.
• Project Governance & Delivery Support: Maintain key project artefacts including delivery plans, risk registers, issue logs, schedules, and project documentation. Track project progress across multiple engagements, identifying potential delays or risks and escalating where appropriate. Support the Project Manager in maintaining strong governance and project oversight.
• Financial & Commercial Coordination: Assist with tracking project budgets, billing forecasts, utilisation, and financial reporting. Support the preparation of billing documentation and engagement reporting for professional services and managed services engagements. Help track scope changes and project variations where required.
• Quality Assurance & Documentation: Coordinate cyber security testing activities such as
penetration tests, security assessments, and compliance reviews, ensuring deliverables are tracked and reviewed prior to client release. Maintain consistent documentation standards across projects and engagements. Ensure delivery outputs align with company standards and quality expectations.
• Reporting& Communication: Prepare project status reports, dashboards, and documentation for internal leadership and client stakeholders. Translate technical delivery progress into clear and structured updates for non-technical audiences.
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure project activities follow Baidam Solutions delivery processes, cyber security frameworks, and company governance standards. Support compliance with relevant industry standards and security frameworks where required.
Typical Skills and Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience inproject coordination, project support, or project management roles within cyber security, IT consulting, or technology environments. Experience supporting or coordinating professional services projects and managed services engagements. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent project activities in a consulting or services environment.
• Project & Delivery Coordination: Strong understanding of project delivery processes including planning, tracking, risk management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination. Experience supporting delivery of client-facing consulting or managed service engagements.
• Cyber Security & Technical Understanding: Good understanding of cyber security concepts and terminology including risk assessments, penetration testing, security operations, and governance frameworks. Familiarity with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, Essential Eight, or similar frameworks is beneficial.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients. Confident facilitating meetings and maintaining professional client interactions.
• Organisational Skills: Highly organised with strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to coordinate multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced professional services environment.
• Certifications (Desirable): Project management certifications such as PRINCE2
Foundation/Practitioner, CAPM, PMP, or Agile certifications are desirable.
• Tools: Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Monday.com, or similar platforms. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
