We see market research as the basis for the strategic and operational orientation of our marketing, sales, and product management measures, as well as their evaluation. As a Market Research Intern you will support our Market Research Manager in implementing operational market research tasks related to electric mobility.

Your area of responsibility

  • Independent implementation of tasks in operational market research
  • Content research, data processing, and statistical analysis of market data in the automotive sector (e.g., collection of Europe-wide new car registration figures, calculation of market shares or growth indicators, market projections in the form of trend curves, forecasts, etc.)
  • Programming, testing, and optimizing questionnaires in the licensed survey tool, including sample preparation, inviting participants, statistical processing of raw data, and descriptive evaluation of results
  • Performing simple (univariate) statistical analyses (correlation, variance, T-test, chi-square test, etc.) as needed, as well as statistical evaluation and (cross-)tabular processing of data (market data, survey results)
  • Data visualization (charting), e.g., in Excel, and preparation of reports in PowerPoint or for online media
  • Market and competition monitoring as required, e.g., research and evaluation of operational key figures such as sales, turnover, market shares (in balance sheet or quarterly reports of competitors, media reports, publicly available statistics)
  • Research and preparation of product portfolios for go-e benchmarking
  • Market research and preparation of market and country analyses in a broader sense, taking into account economic, demographic, social, and cultural factors


It would be great if you have

  • Thematically relevant degree program (in business administration, sociology, mathematics/statistics, or data science) that requires a mandatory internship
  • Ideally, initial relevant experience in market research, marketing, or a comparable field, for example, through other internships
  • You are accustomed to taking a technical (e.g., economic) approach when developing ways and means to solve problems
  • Accuracy and an affinity for numbers are your strong points
  • You are a highly committed and independent person
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good written and spoken German and English language skills
  • Good MS Office skills (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Ideally, experience in using SPSS, Tableau, or similar statistics and data analysis tools


It would be even better if you have

  • Additional language skills (e.g. Italian, Spanish) would be an advantage
  • Ideally, you are interested in technical topics and have some initial experience in e-mobility
  • Class B driver's license
