Job Description
- Process non-DG shipments.
- Track shipments for specific customer accounts.
- Register custom documents on national customs website.
- Execute and follow up of daily reports.
- Create non-DG files in our own SAP system.
- Send out pick up instructions to our road service providers.
- Verify & document booking confirmations and container releases of ocean carriers.
- Contribute to maintain good relationships with suppliers as ocean carriers, trucking companies and other parties involved.
- Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and updated in the DLSOP.
- Understand department process flow, and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with the company’s procedures.
- Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies / procedures and external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements.
- Escalate problems to Management when necessary.
- Understanding of export documentation process a plus.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
- Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
- Good computer skills.
- Fluent in English/Dutch.
