Data Scientist - Industrial Applications - ASAP Start - Freelance / CDI

We are seeking a Data Scientist to support a variety of high‑impact initiatives across the organization. The role focuses on improving safety, operational performance, sustainability, and innovation through advanced analytics, machine learning, and Generative AI.

This position requires strong hands‑on technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple business and technical stakeholders.

Key Mission Areas

The Data Scientist will contribute to projects such as:

• Security analytics to enhance safety across people and infrastructure
• Punctuality optimization using predictive and real‑time modeling
• Energy consumption analysis in support of sustainability goals
• Generative AI applications that improve efficiency and innovation
• Development of strategic models to guide long-term operational planning

Responsibilities

• Design and implement advanced data science solutions using machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI.
• Work closely with cross‑functional teams such as operations, IT, and sustainability.
• Translate complex business needs into actionable analytical solutions.
• Apply best practices for model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Encourage adoption of cutting‑edge analytical technologies and methodologies within the team.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with proven results in industrial contexts.
• Demonstrated experience using cloud platforms to support industrialized analytics solutions.
• Fluency in English.

Evaluation Criteria

Candidates will be assessed on:

• Mastery of relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Knowledge of key data science techniques across ML, DL, and GenAI.
• Experience deploying ML/AI models into production environments.
