Description:

  • Senior UX/UI designer for the Small and Medium Enterprise website.
  • Are you driven by designing experiences that convert visitors into loyal SME customers? At Proximus, we are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to play a key role in shaping high-impact, data-driven digital journeys for small and medium businesses.

Your Mission:

  • As a UX/UI Designer for the SME segment, you’ll craft intuitive, conversion-oriented experiences that make it effortless for entrepreneurs and business owners to understand, choose and manage our solutions.
  • You’ll work at the crossroads of UX, UI and experimentation, transforming insights, analytics and user research into seamless flows, clear interfaces and impactful pages.
  • Collaborating closely with product owners, content designers and developers, you’ll ensure every SME journey feels simple, professional and consistent — from first visit to long-term relationship.

Key Responsibilities :

As a Senior UX/UI Designer, you will:

  • UX Design
  • Drive the overall UX/UI and experience of the Small and Medium Enterprise website.
  • Create user flows for SME-oriented journeys.
  • Translate strategic objectives and value propositions into clear concepts, user journeys and flows.
  • Design wireframes, high-fidelity interfaces and interactive prototypes for mobile, balancing user needs, business goals and technical constraints.
  • Turn research, analytics and customer feedback into clear design decisions and measurable improvements.
  • Actively contribute to and evolve the design system and UX standards, ensuring consistency and quality across the app.
  • Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Proactively identify experience gaps and opportunities to meaningfully improve the customer journey.
  • Take full accountability for UX quality within your scope, following up on implementation and outcomes

User Research & Insights

  • Lead and conduct user research and usability testing, selecting appropriate methods to validate concepts and design solutions with SME profiles (entrepreneurs, freelancers, small business managers).
  • Translate research findings into actionable insights, personas, user journeys and service blueprints.
  • Identify usability issues and pain points specific to SME digital behaviours.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Collaborate closely with product owners, analysts, developers and other designers, while confidently challenging assumptions and proposing alternatives when needed.
  • Participate in short and mid-term feature delivery cycles in an Agile context.
  • Present concepts clearly to stakeholders and validate designs through iterative feedback loops.

Continuous Improvement

  • Use analytics tools (ContentSquare, Adobe Analytics) to drive data-based decisions.
  • Stay on top of new trends and best practices in UX, UI and conversion optimization.
  • Contribute to the UX research library and to the evolution of the SME part of the design system.

Experience Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Graphic Design, Product Development, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI designer, with proven end-to-end ownership of design work.
  • Strong background in user research, from exploratory research to usability testing.
  • Experience designing for AI-powered products or assistants.

Skills & Expertise

  • Excellent command of Figma for UX/UI design and prototyping.
  • Strong understanding of mobile UX patterns, interaction design and accessibility.
  • Knowledge of ContentSquare, Adobe Analytics or other analytics tools to inform and validate design decisions.
  • Solid understanding of Double Diamond and human-centred design principles.

Languages

  • Fluent in Dutch or French, with strong English (spoken and written).

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with service design and cross-channel journeys.
  • Experience in telecommunications or similarly complex industries and corporate environments.
  • Familiarity with an Agile product development environment.
