About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Leader for App Development specializing in Android and iOS platforms to join our team in Aachen. In this leadership role, you will oversee our mobile development team, driving the ongoing enhancement of our mobile applications. Your responsibilities will include coordinating cross-platform development processes, implementing modern testing and release strategies, and fostering a culture of technical excellence. You will work closely with product management, design, and development teams to ensure our mobile solutions meet high standards of quality, usability, and innovation. Your expertise will be instrumental in integrating new technologies and APIs to continuously improve the user experience and functionality of our apps.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of experience leading mobile development teams, with a strong background in Android and iOS development. Proficiency in Kotlin, Swift, and Objective-C is essential, along with a solid understanding of API integration. Candidates should have excellent knowledge of at least one platform (Android or iOS) and basic competence in the other. Experience with quality assurance practices, including unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release management, is required. A good understanding of UX/UI principles and the ability to optimize mobile user experiences are also necessary. Fluency in German (C1 level) and good English skills are expected.
