Fully remote UX/UI Designer contract


  • Must be based in Ireland
  • 6 month daily rate contract with view to extend


We're working with a high-growth product team who are hiring a UX/UI Designer to join a cross-functional team delivering improvements across web and native platforms.


This role will focus on enhancing user experience through strong accessibility standards, improved discoverability and consistent implementation of an established design system.


You'll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to design intuitive, data-informed experiences that deliver real customer impact.


What You'll Be Doing


User-Centred Design

  • Translate user needs into clear, usable interface designs
  • Apply frameworks such as personas, journey mapping, and Jobs To Be Done
  • Understand how UI decisions impact the overall end-to-end experience
  • Stay aware of market trends and competitor activity


Creative & Strategic Thinking

  • Ask the right questions to uncover the root problem
  • Explore multiple design solutions and challenge assumptions
  • Contribute to discussions around future product direction
  • Bring fresh thinking while working within established patterns


Product & Interaction Design

  • Create wireframes, prototypes and process flows to communicate concepts
  • Iterate on existing user experiences and design components
  • Collaborate with UX Research to validate assumptions and refine solutions
  • Work closely with engineers and visual designers to ensure accurate implementation
  • Apply and evolve existing design system components where appropriate
  • Clearly articulate design rationale to stakeholders


Data & Testing

  • Use analytics and customer insights to inform design decisions
  • Define and track relevant success metrics
  • Partner with UX Research to test and validate designs with users


What We're Looking For

  • Experience designing for web and/or native platforms
  • Strong working knowledge of Figma
  • Experience working within a design system
  • Ability to communicate designs clearly to developers
  • Solid understanding of accessibility best practices
  • Confident collaborating in cross-functional Agile teams
