An established professional services organisation is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to lead day-to-day cyber security operations and strengthen the protection of systems, data, and people.
The role provides centralised oversight of security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and control assurance across infrastructure, applications, and end-user environments.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and investigate security events across the Microsoft security stack (e.g. Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra ID).
- Triage and manage security alerts with internal teams and external SOC providers.
- Lead or support cyber incident response, including investigation, containment, and post-incident review.
- Support compliance and assurance activities aligned with recognised frameworks and regulatory obligations.
- Produce security reporting and recommend improvements to processes, tooling, and controls.
Skills & Experience required:
- 5+ years’ experience in security operations, incident response, or a related cyber security role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft security technologies (Defender XDR, Sentinel, identity security).
- Understanding of cloud security principles within Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST-aligned controls, DORA, NIS2, and GDPR.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
