Senior Network Engineer | €85k or €438/Day

We are currently working with a global cloud infrastructure organisation looking to hire a Network Engineer to join their networking team based in Dublin.

This role sits within a team responsible for managing traffic migration across large-scale global network infrastructure. The position requires strong routing knowledge and troubleshooting capability, with engineers responsible for understanding how traffic moves through the network and executing network changes safely.

This is a hands-on role focused on production networking environments, where understanding routing behaviour and resolving issues quickly is critical.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Execute network changes related to traffic migrations
• Analyse and understand network routing behaviour across production environments
• Troubleshoot routing issues within large-scale infrastructure
• Work closely with engineering teams to safely manage traffic movement across networks
• Monitor network performance during migrations and resolve issues where required
• Ensure changes are executed with minimal service disruption

Key Experience Required:

• Strong IP networking fundamentals
• Experience working with network routing protocols
• Proven experience with network troubleshooting
• Ability to understand and analyse network traffic flows
• Experience working within large-scale production environments

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in large cloud or hyperscale environments
• Network automation exposure
• Previous experience with AWS infrastructure environments

Additional Details:

• 5 days onsite in Dublin
• 6 month contract with strong extension potential
• Ideally 5+ years networking experience

Compensation:

• €85,000 PAYE annual salary or €438 per day (LTD / Contract)
