🚀 Network Engineer – Dublin (6-Month Contract, Onsite) (flexibility possible for highly independent candidates)
Initial 6-month contract with potential extension or FTE conversion
We’re looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join in Dublin to support routing and traffic migration from legacy systems to new infrastructure. This is a high-priority role critical to ongoing network operations, with potential to convert to a full-time opportunity for strong performers.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute network traffic migrations from legacy systems to new infrastructure
- Work with routing protocols: BGP, IS-IS, MPLS
- Perform troubleshooting and technical investigations independently
- Track and manage migration scope, coordinating with internal teams
- Follow structured migration processes, with increasing autonomy over time
What We’re Looking For:
- 5–6 years of networking routing experience
- Strong understanding of BGP, IS-IS, MPLS
- Comfortable making network changes in production environments
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical investigations
Nice to Have:
- Network automation experience
- Exposure to DWDM technologies
- Relevant network certifications
