WHAT WE DO

We are set up to provide our customers with end-to-end support in the process of developing software solutions:

• Business need analysis, design of functional and non-functional requirements, system analysis, support for business transformation and IT/business consultancy;
• User interface and experience design and development for mobile and desktop applications;
• Front and back-end development in a wide range of technologies: Java, .NET, Ruby, GoLang, Oracle, Python.
• Complete Data Warehouse solutions from architecture, design and implementation using mainly Vertica, Oracle and Microsoft platforms.
• Avalanche has been the central counterparty for multiple major banking projects in the Scandinavia and Baltics, in areas such as lending automation, regulatory reporting and calculations, integrations, governance, risk and compliance, Basel II/III, Stress Testing, AML/KYC.

We are looking for an experienced CMDB / Configuration Management Consultant to join a long-term engagement with a major enterprise client.

In this role, you will help strengthen the reliability and accuracy of the client’s Jira Assets-based CMDB environment, ensuring that infrastructure and endpoint data from multiple sources is properly discovered, reconciled, and maintained.

You will play a key role in improving discovery quality, CMDB data modeling, and source-of-truth design, working closely with infrastructure teams, platform owners, and stakeholders across the organization.

DO YOU HAVE...

🌟 4+ years of experience working with CMDB / Configuration Management Database environments.

🌟 3+ years of hands-on experience with Jira Assets (Insight), including schemas, object types, attributes, relationships, and imports.

🌟 Good understanding of CMDB data modeling, configuration items, relationships, and lifecycle/status models.

🌟 Experience working with discovery tools, preferably Lansweeper SaaS.

🌟 Experience improving discovery coverage, scan configurations, and inventory accuracy.

🌟 Strong troubleshooting skills related to discovery, device identification, and inventory consistency.

🌟 Experience with data reconciliation and source-of-truth design across multiple infrastructure systems.

NICE TO HAVE...

✨ Experience working in banking or other regulated environments.

✨ Experience with CMDB migration, cleanup, or stabilisation initiatives.

✨ Experience integrating sources such as Intune, security platforms, virtualisation, or cloud inventories into a CMDB.
