Senior Software Engineer (Go + Kubernetes) at BairesDev

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer who writes Go and has worked inside Kubernetes — not just on top of it. You understand cluster lifecycle management, Kubernetes networking and storage, and what it takes to build and operate platform infrastructure in containerized environments. You’ll be contributing to a Kubernetes-native platform that powers enterprise data deployments at scale, where your depth in Go and Kubernetes internals directly affects how well the platform performs and how reliably it runs.

What You’ll Do:

- Design and develop Go-based components for Kubernetes-native platform infrastructure.

- Work on cluster lifecycle management, Kubernetes extensions, and platform services beyond application deployment.

- Build and maintain containerized services with a solid understanding of Docker and container runtime behavior.

- Contribute to networking and storage layer work including CNI integrations and volume management.

- Collaborate with platform teams to deliver reliable, production-ready Kubernetes infrastructure.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to platform engineering standards.

What We Are Looking For:

- 5+ years of experience in IT roles.

- 4+ years of experience with Go as a primary programming language.

- Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production, including cluster management rather than just application deployment.

- Solid containerization depth with Docker.

- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, CNI, and load balancing.

- Advanced proficiency in English.

How we do make your work (and your life) easier:

- Remote Work.

- Excellent compensation in USD or your local currency if preferred

- Hardware and software setup for you to work from home.

- Flexible hours: create your own schedule.

- Paid parental leaves, vacations, and national holidays.

- Innovative and multicultural work environment: collaborate and learn from the global Top 1% of talent.

- Supportive environment with mentorship, promotions, skill development, and diverse growth opportunities.

Join a global team where your unique talents can truly thrive and make a significant impact!
