Job Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer who wants to be part of Tieto Tech Consulting. Areas of Responsibility

  • Requirement analysis, documentation reviews and testing scope identification
  • Test planning & estimation
  • Test design and execution for different testing levels (System, Integration, UAT, etc.)
  • Making sure that environments and changes are ready for testing
  • Defect registration and management
  • Quality risk identification and escalation
  • Support developers, product owners, business representatives and others
  • Can act as test manager on team scale: leading 2-3 test engineers, planning testing activities and etc.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a Test Engineer role
  • Basic technical knowledge (e.g., SQL, API, HTML/CSS, XML, programming fundamentals, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience testing API/REST services
  • Knowledge of various testing types and methodologies
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues from different countries
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new environments
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Be advocate for quality

Will be an advantage

  • Any ISTQB certificate
  • Have experience working according to SAFe methodologies
  • Familiarity/experience with different development methodologies (such as Agile, Waterfall or anything in between)
  • Familiarity with any popular solutions and technologies (e.g.: SAP, Cloud or anything else)
