The opportunity: Project Manager – Permanent contract

Being part of HSBC in Luxembourg, you’ll help evolve and grow our Private Banking business. Do you have experience managing projects within the banking industry? Can you demonstrate strong and effective leadership? Are you familiar with Change delivery frameworks?

What you will do:

Reporting to the Head of EMEA and UK Transformation, you will coordinate the implementation of projects across business lines and functions at HSBC Private Bank Luxembourg, from initiation to completion.

In this role, you will (but not limited to):

• Guide change initiation and project design, ensuring successful delivery.
• Coordinate activities between various business lines and functions.
• Assess project-related risks, managing critical issues and implementing mitigation plans.
• Align projects with the broader change portfolio, Group strategy, values, and behaviours.
• Proactively monitor project progress to ensure deadlines and milestones are achieved.
• Draw insights from management reports to support informed business decisions.

You should apply if you have:

• Experience working within the Finance and Banking sector.
• Excellent understanding of the project lifecycle.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale projects.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of change frameworks, methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with the Avaloq platform is an advantage.
