Senior Frontend developer


We have an exciting opening for an experienced Frontend developer to join our dynamic and innovative team.

The influence of AI in transforming the legal sector is monumental. It makes the work processes of lawyers and fiscalists more exciting and efficient. Our product, GenIA-L, captures this transformation in the Dutch market. A pioneer among AI products in Netherlands, GenIA-L, is trusted in answering legal and tax-related questions and used extensively daily.

To reach new heights with GenIA-L. This means generating reliable answers to increasingly complex legal questions and offering a system that integrates seamlessly with the daily workflow of professionals.


Your role

As a Frontend Developer within our Customer Experience team, you will help engineer the next generation of legal research. We are fully committed to pioneering the legal AI-space by building intuitive interfaces that anticipate user intent and empower our customers to achieve their research goals with unprecedented speed and accuracy.

We are looking for a product-minded engineer who is an innovator at heart. You’re not only interested in using AI tools, you also bring hands-on experience in implementing AI-driven solutions and stay at the forefront of developments in the field. While you optimally employ AI tooling to supercharge your own development workflow, you also possess the technical depth to understand and take full ownership of the code you ship. You are a well-organized teamplayer who values precision and understands how to weigh priorities in a fast-paced environment.


What we’re looking for

  • BA/MA degree in the field of Computer Sciences, or similar
  • 4+ years professional experience in a relevant development role
  • Solid experience with Typescript, React (or similar), NextJS
  • Strong interest in AI concepts: up to date with latest developments, hands-on experience implementing related technologies (e.g. Streams API, Vercel AI SDK)
  • Elemental knowledge of common CI/CD practices (e.g. Github Actions, Azure Pipelines, GitLab CI)
  • Affinity with Agile software development methodologies
  • Passionate about appealing and intuitive UX
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Bonus: familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes and / or Helm is considered a strong plus.


What we are offering

Total package between €82.800,- and €97.000,- (including secondary benefits)

Consisting of:

  • A 36-hour working week (full-time) with a gross monthly salary between € 5.500,- and € 6.400,- depending on your experience and expertise.
  • 23 days of holiday based on full-time employment, in accordance with the collective labour agreement for the publishing industry.
  • A personal choice budget of 12% of your gross annual salary, of which 8% is holiday allowance and 4% is flexible, for example for purchasing extra vacation days.
  • An end-of-the-year bonus of 4% (fixed)
  • A profit-sharing scheme that can amount to 6%, depending on the operating result achieved (variable)
  • A personal bonus (till 10%) (variable)
  • A good pension scheme through the PGB pension fund, including supplementary partner insurance.
  • A hybrid working environment with a home working scheme and home working allowance.
  • Travel allowance of €0.23 per km or full reimbursement of public transport costs.

  • You will be given an assignment with which you can demonstrate your skills in anticipation of the next round.
  • 2nd round: Technical talk
  • We’ll have a more in-depth technical talk together with our engineers, reflecting on the result of your assignment.
