Palm's engineering team is building the future of treasury management. Our product transforms how CFOs and treasurers manage cash forecasting and reporting. Taking it from a labour-intensive task to a quick and automated process.
This role is about building features that finance teams don't just use, but love. You'll work on complex data grids, interactive visualisations, and sophisticated workflows that handle millions of dollars in transactions. You'll help Palm establish design patterns and practices that will scale as we grow.

How will you make an impact?
- Shape how AI shows up in Palm. You'll define the interaction patterns, design the trust signals, and decide when AI acts autonomously vs. when it asks for confirmation. This isn't about adding a chatbot -- it's about reimagining what treasury software can be.
- Complete the product-engineering-design triad. You'll sit alongside the founders, product, and engineering as an equal partner. Bring the design perspective to strategic decisions. Reframe problems. Advocate for the user.
- Own design end-to-end. From discovery and research through prototyping, shipping, and iteration. You'll work on product strategy, not just product surfaces.
- Make complex things simple. Treasury data is dense. Multiple currencies, entities, forecasts, actuals. Your job is to make finance teams not just use Palm, but love it.
- Talk to customers. Join sales calls, customer interviews, and support conversations. Understand how Treasurers at large companies actually work.

Our wish list
Must-haves
- 2+ years of product design experience
- Experience in enterprise B2B or fintech - you've designed for complex workflows, data-dense interfaces, and multiple user roles
- Strong systems thinking - you think in components, patterns, and scalability, not just individual screens
- Demonstrated product influence - you can show examples of shaping product direction, not just executing briefs
- AI design fluency - you have a point of view on how AI changes product design. Bonus if you've designed AI-powered features or products
- Prototyping ability - whether in Figma, Framer, or code, you can make ideas tangible fast
- Comfort with ambiguity - we're a seed-stage startup. Requirements change. Priorities shift. You thrive in this
- Experience at a design-led startup
- Can prototype in code (Claude Code, Cursor, React, etc)
- Enterprise or Fintech experience
- Have led or built a design team before
- Remote-first work experience across European time zones
