Data Analyst (SQL focus)

We are looking for a hands-on Data Analyst / SQL Consultant to join a team focused on financial crime data and reporting.

This role is highly technical and ideal for someone who enjoys working with SQL, analysing large datasets, and building data models.

📍 Location: Lisbon (minimum 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

🔎 What we’re looking for:

The most important requirement for this role is strong SQL skills.

We value technical capability over years of experience, so a candidate with 1–2 years of experience but very strong SQL knowledge can be a great fit.

Must-have:

✔ Strong SQL proficiency.

✔ Experience working with large datasets.

✔ Experience with data modelling.

✔ Ability to work independently on analytical tasks.

Nice to have:

➕ Experience with DBT.

➕ Exposure to AML, KYC, financial crime, or banking data.

🛠 What you’ll do:

• Build and structure data models (SQL / DBT).

• Handle ad-hoc data analysis and requests.

• Support financial crime reporting and analytics.

• Work closely with internal technical leads who will assign tasks and review deliverables.
