Location: Spain - Madrid

Description

DAZN is the global home of sport, delivering premium live and on-demand coverage across boxing, football, NFL, and a wide range of additional rights. DAZN’s social ecosystem reflects this breadth — with sport-specific handles driving depth and fandom, supported by the general @DAZN handle to amplify moments and stories across the portfolio.

This role offers the opportunity to shape how DAZN’s social performance is measured, planned, and optimized — ensuring internal teams are deployed effectively across key events, priorities, and platforms using data-led insight.

If you’re passionate about sport, culture, and digital storytelling — and driven by turning insights into impact — DAZN is the place to make your mark.

As Social Analyst – DAZN, you will work on the analysis, planning, and optimization of DAZN’s social coverage across boxing, football, NFL, and other major rights.

Sitting within the Social team and reporting into the Manager of Social Analytics, this role focuses on editorial and programming strategy across multiple social handles. You will work closely with internal content creators, sport-specific social leads, and cross-functional partners to ensure DAZN’s social output is data-informed, strategically aligned, and scalable.

This is a key strategy-informing role: combining deep analytical thinking with strong editorial instincts and a working understanding of content creation and live coverage.

This role will be based in our Madrid office, working Monday - Sunday across shifts.

Please note, our Talent Acquisition team and some Hiring teams are based in the UK so parts of the recruitment process will be in English. Please also upload your resume in English, thanks!

By joining DAZN, you will be part of a company that has earned the Great Place to Work certification, a recognition we’ve achieved thanks to the commitment and professionalism of everyone at DAZN Spain. This certification reflects the exceptional environment we've built together, where employee well-being is a top priority. At DAZN, we take pride in being an excellent place to work, as confirmed by the experiences and feedback of our team members.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Work across performance analysis for DAZN’s multisport social ecosystem across sport-specific priority handles (Boxing, Football, NFL)
  • Develop regular reporting and dashboards covering reach, engagement, growth, watch time, retention, and platform-specific KPIs
  • Translate insights into clear recommendations for programming, coverage planning, and content mix
  • Inform internal creator deployment using data around event performance, platform behaviour, and audience demand
  • Identify trends, formats, and storytelling opportunities across sports and platforms
  • Evaluate performance of key events, fights, and matchdays with post-event reporting
  • Provide guidance on best practices for platform-native publishing

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience in social analytics, audience insights, or social strategy within sports or media
  • Strong multi-sport knowledge, including boxing, football, NFL, and other major sports
  • Experience working with social analytics tools and native platform insights
  • Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable recommendations
  • Confident communicator who can influence creative and editorial decisions
  • Organised approach, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple priorities
