For one of key clients in Northern Sweden we are seeking several Schedule Managers/Leaders for lucrative long term consultancy contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously optimise the integrated master construction schedule, ensuring full alignment with overall project strategy and execution plans
- Work closely with construction managers and field supervisors to align on-site activities, proactively identify deviations, and implement corrective actions
- Apply advanced planning, sequencing, and phasing strategies to maximise productivity, resource efficiency, and constructability
- Establish and lead robust progress monitoring and control systems, enabling accurate tracking, transparent reporting, and data-driven decision-making
- Maintain live schedules by integrating actual progress, assessing schedule impacts, and developing mitigation and recovery scenarios
- Produce and present detailed progress analyses and S-curves, structured by discipline, work package, and critical project areas
- Proactively identify schedule risks and constraints, developing contingency plans and recovery strategies to protect key milestones
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in project planning and scheduling within large-scale projects (e.g. mining, energy, oil & gas, infrastructure)
- Expert-level proficiency in Primavera P6 (mandatory), with strong working knowledge of MS Project and reporting tools such as Power BI
- Experience with integrated project control systems (e.g. SAP, EcoSys, Deltek Cobra) is highly desirable
- Proven track record of leading multidisciplinary planning teams on mega-projects valued at $500M+ USD
- Demonstrated expertise in developing, reviewing, and optimising fully integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning
- Advanced knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM), and Lean Construction principles
- Previous work experience in Sweden is considered an advantage
