For a leading client in the banking industry, we are looking for a Network Engineer with strong expertise in modern datacentre networking. You’ll join a high‑performing engineering environment that keeps mission‑critical infrastructure secure, stable, and always available.
Your Job
In this role, you will focus on the stability and continuous improvement of global datacentre network services. Your day‑to‑day work centers around:
- Handling incident management, troubleshooting and resolving complex networking issues (2nd & 3rd line).
- Managing and enhancing F5 technologies, particularly LTM, APM and automation modules.
- Supporting and executing iSeries to rSeries migration activities.
- Maintaining secure, compliant, and policy‑aligned network configurations.
- Collaborating with engineering teams, with opportunities to support project designs as you grow in the role.
The work is a mix of operational tasks and engineering initiatives, with some planned changes occurring outside business hours.
Your Profile
- Advanced knowledge of F5 technologies, especially LTM, APM, and automation (F5 301 and ideally 401 level).
- Strong troubleshooting experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Solid background in incident management and operational network engineering.
- Experience with enterprise‑grade networking hardware (Cisco, HPE, F5, Juniper).
- Willingness to participate in on‑call rotations and scheduled off‑hours changes.
