🔹 For our Client from banking industry we are looking for Data Analyst🔹
✔️Working model:
Hybrid working model: remotely + on-site in Warszawa/Gdynia/Gdansk.
B2B model - Rate 130-150 PLN/h netto + VAT
As a Data Analyst, you will be involved in preparing and extracting data for compliance monitoring and testing activities. You will be also participating in testing and monitoring activities as part of the project team supporting the team with your technical knowledge.
✔️Main responsibilities in this role:
- Assess the effectiveness of processes and controls regarding data processing for managing compliance risk within the organisation, providing opinions on the overall risk management practices in regards to data/technical related aspect.
- Support Testing Lead in executing compliance activity by obtaining appropriate data extracts or performing necessary data analysis enabling driving to the conclusion on the processes and controls.
- Work with stakeholders from Group Compliance, 1 Line of Defence, audit on identification and registration matters relating to compliance regulations and thereby building a strong control environment within the Bank.
- You can be located in Finland (Helsinki) or Poland (Warsaw, Gdynia/Gdańsk).
✔️Who you are:
In your previous positions you have worked with data extraction, analysis and processing, as well as reporting, and dashboard creation. Additionally, you possess technical knowledge that could support the execution of compliance engagements. Strong communication skills are key, especially when explaining complex matters to your stakeholders. We hope that you have the ability to tailor complex information for various audiences, influence decisions but also have the willingness and ability to listen and understand others’ point of view. You enjoy building and maintaining professional relationships.
✔️Your background and skills include:
- Experience in data management, data extraction, analysis and processing
- Experience with SQL queries and familiarity with (or willingness to learn) another programming language
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent written and spoken English
✔️It would be ideal if you also:
- Hold an academic degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering); have experience with Power BI to produce reports; had some exposure to compliance or internal audit activities.
