We are seeking an experienced Health Insurance Placement Officer to manage the insurer coordination, negotiation, and placement of health insurance policies. This backend role requires strong market knowledge, technical expertise, and proven experience working within UAE insurance broking firms.

Key Responsibilities

Insurer Coordination & Placement

• Liaise with insurers to source quotations, negotiate terms, and secure optimal coverage and pricing for clients.
• Review underwriting requirements and ensure proposals comply with insurer guidelines and UAE health insurance regulations (DHA / DoH).
• Manage the full placement cycle—quotation, comparison, negotiation, issuance, endorsements, and renewals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurer underwriters and account managers to ensure smooth processing and preferential service levels.
• Monitor insurer performance and escalate issues impacting placement timelines or quality.

Operational & Compliance Responsibilities

• Accurately record all placement activities, quotations, and policy details in the CRM.
• Ensure strict compliance with Central Bank of UAE regulations, DoH/DHA requirements, and company procedures.
• Support the sales teams with technical placement input, product comparisons, and timely policy issuance.
• Assist in insurer audits, documentation reviews, and reporting requirements.

Internal Support & Collaboration

• Act as a bridge between sales and insurers, ensuring smooth flow of placement information.
• Provide technical input on policy benefits, network options, underwriting guidelines, and exclusions.
• Coordinate with operations and claims teams to resolve placement or servicing issues.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in UAE health insurance broking (mandatory).
• Strong exposure to medical insurance placement, insurer negotiation, and policy issuance processes.
• Familiarity with DHA/DoH regulations, UAE market products, and insurer networks is essential.

Technical & Soft Skills

• Strong insurer negotiation and coordination skills.
• Ability to analyze and compare health insurance proposals and policy structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu a plus).
• Proficient in CRM systems and MS Office.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple placements under tight timelines.

Work Parameters

• Work Schedule:
• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM GST or 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM GST
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM GST
• Work Type: Onsite – Dubai, UAE
