We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing a diverse IT environment and should be well-versed in system administration, cloud platforms, network security, and DevOps processes. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and efficiency of our IT systems, both on-premises and in the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to both platforms.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure, monitor resources, and ensure availability and performance.
  • Implement and maintain cloud-based solutions following best practices.
  • Administer Office 365 services including Exchange, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Configure and maintain Sophos Firewall and ensure network security.
  • Manage VPNs and remote access solutions.
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Automate infrastructure tasks and deployments where possible.
  • Administer and manage Nginx and IIS web servers.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of application hosting environments.
  • Manage PostgreSQL servers, ensuring backup, security, and performance optimization.

  • Vendor Management:
  • Collaborate with external vendors for procurement, contract management, and IT services.
  • Containerization and Orchestration:
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for container management.
  • DNS Management:
  • Handle internal and external DNS configurations and management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in system and network administration.
  • Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, Azure, and AWS environments.
  • Experience with security configurations and best practices (firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, especially Jenkins.
  • Ability to manage web servers (Nginx, IIS) and databases (PostgreSQL).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Certification in relevant technologies (Microsoft, AWS, Azure, Linux) is a plus.
