About The Opportunity
The HR Coordinator (part-time/temporary) will report to and support the HR Manager in executing operational excellence across all people programs while driving meaningful process improvements. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to gain comprehensive HR experience and have a direct impact on our employee experience and organizational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
HR Operations and Systems Management
- Lead the migration of HR tracking spreadsheets to Monday.com, and support on workflow design, testing, and documentation
- Prepare quarterly audits of HR platforms to ensure data integrity and accuracy across all systems
- Support analysis of PEOs by conducting vendor research and doing comparison analysis
- Track and ensure completion of all required compliance training
- Assist in administering annual performance review cycles, such as system setup, scheduling and developing training sessions, and completion tracking and reminders
- Support goal-setting facilitation
- Coordinate interview scheduling and feedback sessions from hiring managers
- Support onboarding logistics and identify opportunities to enhance the new hire experience
- Support the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives including Lunch & Learns, Book Clubs, and recognition events
- Partner with team to identify venues, activities, and catering for staff events
- Support internal communications by creating presentation decks, maintaining intranet content, and contributing to the company newsletter (GWI Gazette)
- Other duties as assigned
Professional Experience
- Bachelor's degree from accredited 4-year institution preferred; actively pursuing a master's degree in a human resources related area of study a plus
- 1-3 years of prior professional experience in HR, operations, or administrative support
- Strong proficiency with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Sheets/Excel
- Experience with HRIS platforms (TriNet, Lattice, Workable, or similar) is a plus
- Familiarity with project management tools like Monday.com preferred
- Canva and PowerPoint experience strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines
- Process-oriented mindset with natural inclination to identify and implement improvements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proactive and self-directed with ability to work independently after initial training, taking ownership of projects and seeing them through to completion
- Detail-oriented while maintaining ability to see the bigger picture
- Adaptable and flexible when priorities shift
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Analytical thinking with ability to work with data and identify trends
- Passion for GWI's mission and community
Current compensation offered: $23/hr.
As a part-time temporary employee, this role is not eligible to participate in employee benefits with the exception of sick leave.
